The data center full lifecycle certification developed by the China Quality Certification Centre stands as the first voluntary certification project in China relying on national standards for data center design and construction acceptance. It is also China’s first voluntary certification project on “conservation” mark for data centers. Through standardized qualification evaluation process, a data center infrastructure certification certificate is provided, helping address practical issues faced by data center enterprises such as high self-acceptance costs, non-uniform standards, and varying energy efficiency. Currently, the certificate has become a necessary proof for financial institutions, cloud service and computing providers, Internet companies and others when signing a contract to lease a data center.

Completely aligning with the Uptime Institute’s Tier Standard, the globally recognized standard for data centers, the data center infrastructure reliability and energy-saving certification provides cloud computing enterprises with an equivalent third-party certification solution to meet high-level data center design, construction, operation and maintenance standards in China. It can reduce the differences in standard implementation between China and foreign countries, making it easier for international enterprises to invest in and build data centers in China.
