On August 21, 2024, Norbert Hass, the head the Quality Management Center of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) and the Manager of the IATF Supervision Office, along with Zhang Lin, the Chief Representative and General Manager of VDA China, and their delegation visited the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC). Liu Gang, the Deputy Managing Director of CQC, welcomed the visitors. Representatives from VDA China, the China branch of the VDA Quality Management Center, and departments of CQC participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, Liu Gang reviewed the cooperation history between CQC and VDA as well as the VDA Quality Management Center, and proposed that both parties further explore more areas and ways of cooperation to jointly inject new impetus into the quality improvement and prosperous development of the global automotive industry.

Norbert Hass and Zhang Lin gave full affirmation to the previous cooperation between the two parties in terms of VDA standards, as well as CQC's professional competence and service quality. They also expressed their hope that in the era of great change in the automotive industry, both parties could establish a closer cooperative relationship to jointly innovate and develop. During the meeting, both parties introduced their basic situations and the latest business progress respectively, and conducted in-depth and pragmatic exchanges on relevant topics and cooperation.

This visit further deepened mutual understanding and trust between the two parties. In the future, CQC will continue to maintain close communication with VDA and strive to carry out more pragmatic cooperation in a wider range of areas.
