The China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), as the designated certification body for CCC certification of safety accessories for gas burners (as per the Announcement No. 19 of 2024 by Certification and Accreditation Administration), will begin accepting certification applications from October 1, 2024, in accordance with the "Announcement from the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification Management for Products Such as Flexible Hoses for Gas Appliances" (Announcement No. 28 of 2024). The specific information is as follows:

1. Certification Application Process

Starting from October 1, 2024, applicants shall submit CCC certification applications to CQC in accordance with the requirements of the "Implementation Specifications for Compulsory Product Certification of Safety Accessories for Gas Burners" . Applicants are required to provide relevant materials and samples for product testing and factory inspection.

Application Path: Log in to the CQC website (http://www.cqc.com.cn), access "Product Certification Login," and log in using an existing account or register as a new user.

- Stainless Steel Corrugated Hoses for Connecting Gas Appliances (2405)

- Metal Covered Hoses for Connecting Gas Appliances (2406)

- Electromagnetic Gas Emergency Shutoff Valves (2407)

2. Recognition of Existing Certification Results

On the premise of manageable certification risks and ensuring certification quality, CQC will actively accept existing certification results to reduce the burden on enterprises and facilitate certification process.
