On June 21, 2024, the China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA) officially released the group standard "Requirements for Testing and Evaluation of Data Center Infrastructure" (T/CCAA 87-2024). This standard, in which CQC plays a leading role during the composition process, fills the gap in testing and evaluation of data center infrastructure within standards in China. Upon implementation, the standard will further promote the unification of standardized testing methods and index requirements within the industry, eliminate differences and reduce disagreements, thereby significantly guiding testing and certification bodies to operate in a scientific way.
During the compilation process, a team of data center industry users, large-scale testing bodies, scientific research institutions, and industry associations was assembled by CQC. The team conducted field research on liquid cooling solutions and high-density computing facilities used in the evolution of data centers into intelligent computing centers. After numerous expert discussions and validations, the standard was successfully completed and passed the expert review organized by CCAA.
Moving forward, CQC will continue to leverage testing and certification as its foundation and technological innovation as its driving force, expanding its comprehensive service capabilities such as data center computing power and efficiency evaluation and liquid cooling solution verification. By doing so, CQC aims to safeguard the high-quality development of the data center industry.
