From May 24-26, the 2024 China Digital Energy Industry Expo grandly opened in Xi'an. The opening ceremony was attended by officers from government departments of Shaanxi Province and Qinghai Province, representatives from the National Energy Internet Industry and Technology Innovation Alliance, and various energy enterprises. Xu Shaoshan, the Deputy Managing Director of the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech at the main forum.
Xu Shaoshan stated that CQC has always been committed to serving the national energy transition and green development strategy. It actively builds national-level verification platforms and explores digital application scenarios, with capabilities covering wind, solar, energy storage, hydrogen, shore power, photovoltaic energy storage, direct current flexible power distribution, and regional energy management. In the future, CQC will enhance cooperation with major energy companies, focusing on achieving comprehensive energy development goals that are clean, low-carbon, and intelligent. Together, they will promote the digital and intelligent transformation of the power, coal, and oil and gas industries, contributing wisdom and strength to the new development of digital energy.
During the expo, CQC's booth attracted numerous exhibitors, company representatives, and professional visitors for consultations with information of CQC’s expertise and service capabilities in digitalization, intelligence, green development, carbon verification, and China Certified Emission Reduction (CCER) projects.
During the event, Xu Shaoshan also conducted research at the CQC Xi'an branch and held discussions with top managers of the China Inspection and Testing Northwest Regional Company on the progress of "Dual Carbon" (carbon peaking and carbon neutrality) business.
