Recently, the State Administration for Market Regulation issued a notice for the development and revision plan of 25 certification and accreditation industry standards, including the "Guidelines for Digital Construction of Inspection and Testing Bodies." Among these, the national certification and accreditation industry standard "Green Application Software Product Evaluation Requirements" (Project Number: 2023RB006), led by CQC, has been approved for initiation.

In July 2021, with the support and promotion of the Nanjing Municipal Market Supervision Administration, CQC Nanjing Branch took the lead in launching a pilot project for green certification in the software and information technology industry nationwide. This pilot project has received support for research and development from the Nanjing Municipal Market Supervision Administration for two consecutive years. As the leader for the "Green Application Software Product Evaluation Requirements" industry standard, CQC will earnestly implement the requirements set forth by the State Administration for Market Regulation for this special plan. They aim to ensure the high-quality and efficient completion of the standard formulation work to address the supply and demand needs of society, industry, and enterprises in green application software product certification. This will enhance the awareness and capability of the software industry for green development, injecting strong momentum into the green, low-carbon, and circular development.

In the future, CQC will further solidify the standardization work for digital green collaborative development, continuously enhance the supply capacity of the green, low-carbon certification market, deepen the integration of digital technology with traditional industries, and actively promote the green, low-carbon, and circular development of the industry. This effort aims to contribute to the national goals of achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
