On May 29, 2024, the China Civil Airports Association announced the results of the selection for on-site evaluation bodies for "Airports of Dual Carbon Target". The China Quality Certification Centre successfully made it onto the list of qualified evalution bodies.

With the increasing global emphasis on environmental protection and sustainable development, the civil aviation industry, as a major carbon emission sector, faces significant pressure to reduce emissions. Implementing the evaluation for Airports of Dual Carbon Target not only helps improve the environmental standards of airports but also provides scientific basis and standards for the construction of green and low-carbon airports in China.
