In accordance with the "Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification Management for Commercial Gas Burners and other Products" (Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation (No. 9 of 2024)) and the "Announcement of the State Certification and Accreditation Administration on the Release of Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification of Wires and Cables" (Announcement of the State Certification and Accreditation Administration (No. 7 of 2024)), and in conjunction with other relevant certification requirements, CQC has recently revised the contents of the "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment" (CQC-C2301-2019). The updated Implementation Rules is modified to CQC-C2301-2024. Hereby, we notify the revised content and related implementation requirements as follows:

1. Major Revisions

- Inclusion of relevant certification requirements for "small quantities of single batch production/import of explosion-proof electrical products" in "3. Certification Mode," "6.1.2 Type Test Sample Requirements," and "8.1 Maintenance of Certification."

- Addition of explosion-proof lighting fixtures and control devices (2318).

- Updating of the certification implementation rule numbers referenced in this certification.

- Revision of the "Table A1 - Requirements for Unit Division of Explosion-Proof Electrical Products" and "Table D1 - Factory Quality Control Testing Requirements for Explosion-Proof Electrical Products" related to CCC certification for explosion-proof lighting fixtures and control devices.

- Revision of "Table B1 - List of Controlled Key Components."

- Addition of the statement that "CQC will not accept applications from enterprises included in the national credit information list of severely dishonest entities" in section 5.1.

2. Specific Implementation Requirements

- Existing certificates may be transitioned naturally through expiration, product changes, or standard updates.

- CCC certification will be implemented for explosion-proof lighting fixtures and control devices (2318) starting from May 1, 2024.

- CQC will begin accepting certification applications based on the revised implementation rules from May 1, 2024. You may submit certification applications through the CQC website.
