On May 16, 2024, the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) successfully held a training and exchange meeting for imported motor vehicle manufacturers in Beijing. The meeting was attended by over 70 representatives from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, imported car companies, and relevant domestic testing bodies.
During the meeting, experts from CQC provided an overview of the certification supervision sampling and testing requirements for motor vehicle whole-vehicle certification, as well as the utilization of testing resources by manufacturing enterprises. The experts also engaged in extensive discussions with the attendees, reaching multiple consensus points on various issues.
Looking ahead, CQC will continue to prioritize promoting high-quality industry development. While maintaining stringent quality standards, CQC aims to ensure the smooth and efficient development of certification work for imported cars, thereby elevating the standards of motor vehicle certification.
