The T/CAS 820-2024 "Smart Meeting Room Evaluation Method and Grading" (hereinafter referred to as the "new standard") was released on February 19, 2024, and was implemented on the same day, replacing the CQC PJ 21001-2023 "Technical Specifications for Smart Meeting Room Grading" (hereinafter referred to as the "old standard"). CQC has revised the certification rules CQC96-831159-2023 "Implementation Rules for Smart Meeting Room Grading" related to this standard, involving product category 096405. The following are the relevant requirements for the rule revision and implementation:

I. Key Revisions to the Implementation Rules:

Chapter 4：On-site assessment will be based on the "T/CAS 820-2024 Smart Meeting Room Evaluation Method and Grading," replacing the "CQC/PJ 21001-2023 Technical Specifications for Smart Meeting Room Grading."

II. Requirements for Implementing the New Standard and Rules:

Starting from March 12, 2024, CQC will implement certification using the new standard and issue certificates based on the new standard. As evaluation activities under this certification program have not yet been implemented, there is no conversion of certificates for previously certified companies.
