In order to express the basic requirements of products more concisely and clearly, CQC has revised CQC31-465318-2016 Energy conservation certification rules for lighting products used in classrooms in schools and kindergartens, which applies to certification category 701419. The relevant requirements for the revision of the certification rules are as follows:

I. Main Revisions to the Certification Rules

1. Revision of Section 4.1.1 Basic Requirements of Products, changing "Products applying for energy-saving certification should first pass safety certification (including electromagnetic compatibility certification)" to "Products applying for energy-saving certification should first obtain CCC certification," and deleting the listed safety certification related standards;

2. Editorial modification, correcting "CQC 3155-2015" to "CQC 3155-2016" in the errata Table 3, Note 2.

II. Implementation Requirements

1. This revision does not involve changes to the certification technical requirements and has no impact on previously issued certificates.

2. The revised rules will be officially implemented from March 20, 2024. Enterprises can submit certification applications through the CQC website. For specific matters, please contact the engineers of the New Energy Product Certification Department.
