To all relevant certified enterprises,

CQC has revised CQC-C2401-2021 "Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification - Household Gas Appliances", which applies to business category 2401, 2402 and 2403. The main revisions and implementation requirements are outlined as follows:

I. Key Revisions to the Rules

1. Amendments to the principles of classifying manufacturing enterprises in Table 0-1;

2. Modifications to the principles for dividing raw materials in Chapter 4;

3. Addition in 6.1.1 of assessment requirements for product test reports/certification certificates.

4. Amendments to Appendix B.1, specifically designating electric stove families, steam ovens, fume exhaust devices, and other electrical families within dual-use gas-electric stoves/integrated stoves as Class A key components, specifying their control parameters, technical requirements, and differential testing based on standard clauses.

This revision does not affect certificates that have already been issued. Starting from March 11, 2024, CQC Product Certification Department Ⅱ will begin accepting certification applications for this product using the updated certification rules.
