On January 28, 2024, the Gate4SPICE seminar, hosted by the China Quality Certification Centre, was successfully held in Shenzhen. The conference, organized by the National Quality Inspection and Testing Center for Internet of Vehicles Products, was attended by over 30 ASPICE assessors and professionals from vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, and third-party organizations.
This seminar was an official event certified by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), focusing on the changes, challenges, and impacts of Automotive SPICE Version 4.0, as well as corresponding implementation methods. Discussions also covered topics such as the integration of ASPICE with Security/Safety and practical experiences in project implementation.
Automotive SPICE (Automotive Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination) is one of the joint standards developed by organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It guides the implementation of high-standard software development processes for vehicle software, effectively improving the quality of automotive software. Later, it was operated and developed by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). As a standard for improving software processes and determining capabilities in the automotive industry, ASPICE has become one of the universal standards for evaluating the software development capabilities of global automotive industry suppliers.
Currently, CQC has two Chief Assessors and one Assistant Assessor for ASPICE, providing training, coaching, consulting, and assessment services for Automotive SPICE, Agile SPICE, and ASPICE for Cybersecurity to enterprises.
