On December 19, 2023, the inaugural event for the "Bay Area Certification" was successfully held in Shenzhen. The "Children's Smart Watch" certification project developed by CQC was included in the initial "Bay Area Certification" projects.

"Bay Area Certification" is a high-end voluntary certification scheme owned by the Greater Bay Area Certification Alliance under guidance of the State Administration for Market Regulation and relevant departments in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Based on common execution standards, certification bodies within the Greater Bay Area issue the Bay Area Certificates. During the event, the initial 15 "Bay Area Certification" projects were introduced. They covered three major areas including industrial consumer goods, agricultural and food products, and the service industry. Concurrently, the "Bay Area Certification" public service platform went online and the "Bay Area Certification" logo was officially launched.

As an initiating member of the Greater Bay Area Certification Alliance, CQC will continue to leverage its technical capabilities and brand advantages. It will collaborate with relevant partners in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao to establish "Bay Area Certification" as a high-end certification brand with market competitiveness and global influence. This will facilitate more high-quality products and services from the Greater Bay Area to reach the global stage, ensuring that the outcomes of "Bay Area Certification" better serve people's livelihoods and promote development.
