From October 31st to November 1st, 2023, the Global New Energy and Intelligent Automobile Supply Chain Innovation Conference was held in Guangzhou, and the CQC was invited to attend.
With the rapid development of global new energy and smart connected vehicles, there is an urgent need for the industry to establish a new ecosystem for standards, testing, and certification. Simultaneously, there is a more urgent demand for innovation in standard, testing, and certification models. Nearly a thousand representatives from various sectors such as government departments, automobile, information, transportation, energy, logistics, raw materials, as well as industry institutions, universities, and enterprises, participated in the conference series activities. They engaged in in-depth discussions on how to promote collaborative standards, explore innovation in standards and testing technology, and facilitate the establishment of mutual recognition mechanisms with international testing institutions.
The Deputy Managing Director of CQC, Liu Gang, was invited to attend the global ASTC Automotive Summit Forum and the high-end closed-door ASTC Seminar. He engaged in discussions focused on the new ecosystem of automotive standard testing and certification, along with the CQC's research on international policies and the standard testing certification cooperation mechanism for automotive exports. Liu Gang emphasized CQC's focus on exploring the new ecosystem of automotive standard testing and certification. Additionally, he discussed collaborative efforts with partners to establish the "Chain Enhancement Plan," a high-quality charging initiative cooperation platform, and automotive semiconductor collaboration platform, aiming to enhance the user experience with high-quality charging services and address deficiencies in the domestic supply chain. Furthermore, he put forward three suggestions on how to build a new ecosystem for automotive standards, testing, and certification, including joint research on automotive standard innovation, actively exploring the strengthening of testing and certification capabilities through standard collaboration, and enhancing international mutual recognition.
As a leading organization in the domestic quality service industry, CQC will continue to explore in supporting the construction of a mutual recognition system for automotive supply chain testing and certification, as well as high-quality development and efficient international expansion, to aid in the healthy and sustainable development of the Chinese automotive industry.
