On November 9th, CQC held the 2023 Import Vehicle Certification Customer Exchange Conference. Nearly 70 representatives from the Traffic Management Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association, as well as domestic testing bodies and import vehicle companies attended the meeting. The head of CQC's Product Certification Department III delivered the opening speech.
At the conference, experts from CQC presented information on the progress of the Motor Vehicle Certification Alliance's work, the service capabilities of China Certification & Inspection Group in the transportation sector. Representatives from the Technical Committee (TC 11) of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration introduced the latest additions and revisions to the standards for mandatory product certification. Representatives from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association and Mercedes-Benz (China) shared presentations titled "European Motor Vehicle Small Batch Approval Procedures and Domestic Small Batch Certification Suggestions" and "Steer-by-Wire and Brake-by-Wire Technologies," respectively. Participants engaged in lively discussions on topics such as automotive functional safety and cyber security standards, certification practices, vehicle registration, and automotive software upgrade alliance certification.
Through this meeting, CQC gained a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the needs of the companies, providing reference and insights for better quality services in the future. This event holds significant importance in further enhancing the work quality and service capabilities of CQC.
