CCC stands for China Compulsory Certification. It is a compulsory conformity assessment scheme developed by the State Administration of Market Regulation. It was implemented on May 1, 2002 and became fully effective on August 1, 2003. The scheme makes sure that products imported, sold or used in the Chinese market are safe, and will not do harm to human beings and the environment around us.
