To whom it may concern,

Lighting equipment and its accessories exported to Saudi Arabia have been included in the mandatory implementation scope of the Saudi IECEE National Recognition Certificate since February 1st 2019. Applicants must visit the website ( http://jeem1.saso.gov.sa ) to submit the application and upload valid CB certificate and CB test report (including national differences) issued by any NCB, as well as other necessary materials, and an IECEE National Recognition Certificate will be issued by SASO after approval.

Recently, SASO once again issued a notice emphasizing that when registering products with an HS code of 850431000000 through the SABER platform, the following requirements must be implemented:

— Lighting accessories (parts) such as transformer, power supply and converter are required to have the IECEE national recognition certificate and registration in SL&S system.

— Other transformers that are not related to lighting accessories (parts) are required to have a Certificate of Conformity (CoC).

Relevant enterprises are kindly requested to pay attention.
