To comprehensively implement the important speech and instructions by General Secretary Xi Jinping regarding the promotion of high standards and high-quality development in Xiong'an New Area, and to facilitate the concentration of high-level quality service resources in the new area, CQC and China Xiong'an Group jointly organized the Xiong'an New Area Quality Infrastructure Development Conference and Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony on August 28, 2023. Chen Feng, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Xiong'an New Area, attended the event and delivered a speech, while Niu Aiguo, Director of the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Xiong'an New Area, presided over the meeting.

In his address, Chen Feng emphasized that during General Secretary Xi Jinping's third inspection of Xiong'an New Area on May 10th, he highly praised the new area as a "remarkable achievement" and underscored the importance and challenges involved. General Secretary Xi explicitly pointed out that the focus of the new area's work has shifted towards high-quality construction, high-level management, and simultaneous development of high-quality relocation, providing clear guidance for the further high-standard and high-quality development of Xiong'an New Area.The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement holds significant practical significance for the construction of quality infrastructure and the development of Xiong'an New Area. Both parties should draw on advanced experiences from each other, promote the construction and development of the new area to new heights, and ensure that all relevant departments of the new area provide wholehearted service and strengthen policy guarantees. It is essential to continuously improve the supporting service system for the development of quality infrastructure in the new area, promote quality-oriented innovation in business, and contribute to the high-quality development of Xiong'an New Area.

In his address, Xie Zhaoxu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Managing Director of CQC, expressed that enabling Xiong'an New Area through quality technical services is both a mission and responsibility that CQC, as the "national team" for quality services, should undertake. This objective aligns closely with CQC's development vision and philosophy.In the process of high-quality development in Xiong'an New Area, CQC will leverage its technological strength and resource advantages as an industry leader and pioneer. It will engage in collaborative efforts to support regional development. The focus will be on enhancing supply capabilities and establishing a comprehensive partnership with China Xiong'an Group, providing a "one-stop" service. This collaboration will involve coordinated efforts across various domains, such as the industrial chain and ecological sphere, to achieve a leading example of "high quality Xiong'an" domestically and serve as a global demonstration.

In his address, Zhou Zhenhao, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Xiong'an Group, expressed that as the "main force" and "vanguard" in the construction of Xiong'an New Area, China Xiong'an Group shares a common mission and vision with CQC. The establishment of a long-term and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two parties marks an important milestone in supporting the high-quality construction and development of Xiong'an New Area. It is expected that both sides will work together to create "Xiong'an Quality" and build a future city that is "indescribably wonderful and universally admired."

Liu Weijun, former General Director of the Certification Supervision Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, attended the event. Using the keywords "support, shoulder responsibility, and guide," he provided precise interpretations and work guidance for the quality certification services to support the high-quality development of Xiong'an New Area. Liu Weijun expressed positive expectations for the prospective strategic cooperation between CQC and China Xiong'an Group.

During the event, a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place between CQC and China Xiong'an Group. Zhai Wei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Xiong'an Group, and Liu Jiang, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Managing Director of CQC, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Dr. Wu Haiwen from the Certification and Accreditation Research Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation, as well as relevant experts from CQC, delivered work reports on various topics, including "Promoting High-Quality Economic Development through Quality Infrastructure," "Quality Empowering the Upgrading of China Xiong'an Group," "Digital Security and Digital Transformation," "Planning the Path to Achieve 'Dual Carbon' to Support Green and Low-Carbon Development in Xiong'an," and "Smart Fire Protection for the Safe Development of Xiong'an New Area."

This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in the deep cooperation between CQC and China Xiong'an Group. Going forward, both parties will empower each other and work together to build a comprehensive service system for quality infrastructure. They will actively implement cooperation in various domains such as certification, evaluation, inspection, and testing, with the aim of fostering and practicing innovative businesses in the field of quality.

More than 60 attendees participated in this event, including representatives from the Xiong'an New Area Administrative Committee, the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, the Firefighting Coordination Group, as well as representatives from both signing parties and specially invited guests.
