The quality of components is directly related to the quality of household appliances, so CCC certification for household appliances exerts strict control over components and materials:

(1) Reporting of components during the initial type test: certificates or reports shall be provided for components; complete machine difference test shall be supplemented.

(2) During factory inspection, “quality control of key components” and “product consistency” are key inspection items.

(3) Specific inspection requirements are stipulated for the change of key components after certification.

The requirements for key components and materials in the complete machine shall be implemented in accordance with the Technical Resolution on Relevant Requirements for Key Components and Materials for China Compulsory Certification of Household and Similar Equipment (TCO4-2014-02) issued by the TCO4 Technical Expert Group of the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the P.R.C.

CQC mark certification is one of the voluntary product certification services provided by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), which indicates that the products meet relevant quality, safety, performance, electromagnetic compatibility and other certification requirements by applying the CQC mark. The certification scope covers more than 500 kinds of products, such as mechanical equipment, power equipment, electrical appliances, electronic products, textiles and building materials. CQC mark certification focuses on safety, electromagnetic compatibility, performance, restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) and other indicators that directly reflect product quality and affect consumers’ personal and property safety, so as to safeguard consumers’ interests, improve product quality and enhance international competitiveness of domestic enterprises.
