Through the formulation of CCC Catalogue and the implementation of CCC certification procedures, CCC is to implement compulsory testing and audit for products listed in the CCC Catalogue. All products listed in the CCC Catalogue shall not be imported, sold out or used in business service places without certification certificates issued by designated certification bodies and without certification marks in accordance with regulations.
Since 2002, CQC Product Certification Department 2 has undertaken the important task of CCC certification for household appliances in China. As one of the first batch of certification bodies authorized by CCC, CQC is the most long-standing certification body with the most CCC certificates for household appliances issued, and with the most complete services in China.

Household and similar appliances (19 categories)
1. Including household and similar appliances that meet the following requirements:
(1) For household and similar uses;
(2) Dangerous for the public, including appliances used by non-electrical professionals in shops, offices, hotels, light industries, farms, etc.;
2. Except for electric motors and compressors, where appliances are supplied from the grid, the rated voltage for single-phase appliances must include 220V and the rated frequency must include 50Hz; the rated voltage for three-phase appliances must include 380V and the rated frequency must include 50Hz;
3. Excluding appliances designed for industrial use and appliances powered by a removable power supply unit and sold without a removable power supply unit.
