In accordance with the "Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Implementation of Mandatory Product Certification Management for Lithium-ion Batteries and Other Products" (No. 10 of 2023), starting from August 1, 2023, mandatory product certification will be implemented for lithium-ion batteries, battery packs, and mobile power sources.

Starting from August 1, 2023, CQC will adjust the scope of CQC voluntary certification services for portable fixed electronic devices using lithium-ion batteries and battery packs (001031) and portable digital devices using mobile power sources (001046). CQC will no longer accept CQC voluntary certification applications for the "newly included CCC catalog products" and will cease related voluntary certification activities.

CQC voluntary certificates and their qualification assessment results that have already been issued can be used for CCC certification conversion. Specific requirements can be found in the "Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the Implementation of Mandatory Product Certification Management for Lithium-ion Batteries and Other Products" (No. 10 of 2023) and the revised notice on the implementation details of mandatory product certification for electronic products and safety accessories.

Starting from August 1, 2024, CQC voluntary certificates for "newly included CCC catalog products" that have not undergone conversion will be uniformly invalidated.
