On July 12, 2023. The inaugural session of the First Council Meeting of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Certification Promotion Center (Preparatory) was successfully held in Guangzhou, with officials from the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation providing guidance. CQC participated as a candidate member of the council.

During the meeting, the "Charter of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Certification Promotion Center" was thoroughly reviewed and unanimously approved. The esteemed council members were elected, including the chairman and vice-chairmen, while the first supervisory board members were also appointed. CQC was elected as the vice-chairman, and authoritative certification bodies, research institutes, enterprises and industry platforms in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao formed the council.

The meeting served as a significant milestone towards the registration and establishment of the certification promotion center, marking a tangible step forward in launching the "Bay Area Certification" initiative. The working group of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Certification Promotion Center (Preparatory) presented an overview of their recent progress and shared the registration plans for the certification promotion center.

As a key member of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Certification Alliance,CQC is committed to jointly implementing the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to elevate the quality standards of certified enterprises, expand the influence of the "Bay Area Certification" brand, and drive the high-quality development of the Chinese manufacturing industry.
