On 12th July 2023, the CQC and the Associationof the European Automotive Industry (ACEA) jointly hosted the Sino-EuropeanSeminar on CCC Certification for Motor Vehicles. Approximately 50 representatives from car manufacturers in Europe, Japan, and South Korea, along with the Changchun AutomotiveTesting Centre, ShanghaiMotor Vehicle Testing and Certification Technology Research Centre,China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, and othertesting institutions, attended the meeting. During the seminar, the person in charge of the Departmentof Product Certification III of CQC and the chief representative of ACEA Beijing Representative Office delivered speeches.

During the meeting, representatives of the Product Certification Department III from CQC presented the latest progress on CCC automotive certification. This included the annual report on the development of the CCC automotive product certification system, the work report of the automotive certification alliance, and the revised implementation specifications for the compulsory certification of automotive products. In addition, detailed answers were provided on-site to questions summarized by ACEAmember companies on vehicle certification.

During the discussion, participants engaged in lively discourseon topics of common interest, such as new automobile technology, certification standards, regulations, and policies. They also exchanged views on enterprise technical service needs and how to develop high-quality results in the future. Full consensus was reached on adjusting automobile structural parameters, unifying inspection report formats, automatically acquiring inspection report parameters, and managing the witness test process.

This CQC seminar has a positive significance as it helps in gaining a deeper understanding of customer needs, providing more targeted services to establish a strong foundation, following up on good service for companies' certification,and further improving product quality.
