CQC has recently revised the CQC1160-2022 "Technical Specification for Children's Smartwatch Certification" and CQC11-473321-2022 "Implementation Rules for Children's Smartwatch Certification." The relevant information is as follows:
I. Main Revisions to the Technical Specification
1. Updates the referenced standards in the normative references section to the latest versions.
2. Changes section 4.2.15 from "Certification Failure Handling Requirements" to "Interface Security."
3. Changes section 5.1.15 from "Certification Failure Handling Testing" to "Interface Security Testing."
II. Main Revisions to the Implementation Rules
1. Adjusts the frequency of supervision and inspection to be consistent with the frequency of CCC certification product manufacturers.
2. Modifies certain information in the list of key components.
III. Implementation Requirements
This revision will be implemented through a natural transition process. For already certified products, companies with modification needs can voluntarily submit change applications to CQC. Starting from today, newly issued certificates will follow the revised technical specification and implementation rules.
