On July 15, the inaugural ''Taihu Lake Green Excellence Award'' was unveiled at the China (Wuxi) International New Energy Conference and Exhibition in Wuxi. The event was co-hosted by the Wuxi Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Organising Committee of the China (Wuxi) International New Energy Conference and Exhibition. Distinguished attendees included Pan Binbin, Deputy Director of the Wuxi Development and Reform Commission, Sha Zukang, Former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Honorary President of the International Green Economy Association, among other leaders. Xu Shaoshan, Deputy Managing Director of the CQC, was invited to partake in the ceremony and deliver a speech.

The 'Taihu Lake Green Excellence Award' was officially initiated during the conference. This prestigious award was jointly established by the Organising Committee of the China (Wuxi) International New Energy Conference, the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC), the National Solar Photovoltaic Product Quality Inspection and Testing Centre, the International Green Economy Association, among others. Selection for this remarkable accolade will take into account four key facets: quality improvement, technological innovation, performance levels, and green development. The execution of the 'Taihu Green Excellence Award' will provide value-driven direction and serve as a role model, fostering a green transformation, low carbon, and high-quality evolution of China's new energy industry. Recipients of the award will rise as vanguards of technological advancement, set within a backdrop of green, low-carbon, high-quality development in the photovoltaic industry.

Moving forward, the CQC will continually advocate for the development of an integrated public service platform synthesizing new energy testing, certification, and scientific research on a national level. The goal is to establish a hub for the transformation of the new energy industry and to constantly infuse new driving forces to achieve high-quality development.
