The 33rd National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, themed ''Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction, A Journey We Share'', spanned from July 10 to 16, 2023. The People’s Government of Guangdong Province, the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) jointly initiated the official kick-off ceremony on July 10. Distinguished attendees included Mr. Zhao Chenxin, Deputy Director of NDRC, Mr. Zhang Shaokang, Vice-Governor of Guangdong Province, and Mr. Chen Yong, Vice-Mayor of Guangzhou Municipality, who delivered speeches at the ceremony.

Mr. Xie Zhaoxu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Managing Director of CQC, also attended the ceremony. Representing the CQC, he signed a collaboration agreement with the National Green Technology Trade Centre and the Guangdong Energy Conservation Centre to collectively promote the research, development, and implementation of advanced energy-saving and carbon reduction technologies.
