CQC has recently revised the CQC34-461314-2015 "Certification Rules for Gearboxes Used in Wind Turbine Generators," involving the category number: 030010. The specific revision and requirements are as follows:
I. Main Revisions
1. The certification is based on the standard IEC61400-1:2019 instead of IEC61400-1:2005, and the standard IEC61400-22-2010 has been deleted.
2. The certification process is revised to include design evaluation,manufacturing capability evaluation,type testing and post-certification supervision.
3. The application for custody of enterprise data has been added.
4. The sequence of chapters for type testing and manufacturing capability evaluation has been changed.
5. The content related to manufacturing capability evaluation in the original Chapter 7 has been revised.
6. The key component list has been updated.
7. The representation of person-days has been modified.
8. An annual report for manufacturers has been added.
9. The original "on-site test" in Section 6.1.2 has been deleted.
II. Implementation Requirements
For already issued certificates, applicants can voluntarily submit alteration applications to CQC if there are any modification needs. The CQC Renewable Energy Product Certification Department will start accepting applications for this category using the revised rules from June 1, 2023.
