On June 16, 2023, the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) held a certificate awarding ceremony for low-carbon product certification for multi-connectors. Liu Jiang, member of the party committee and deputy managing director of CQC, issued the certification certificates for the first certified enterprises.

CQC low-carbon product certification for multi-connectors is the first low-carbon certification service in the home appliance industry, showing the determination of CQC to guide consumption upgrade with high-quality low-carbon products, lead the industry progress, respond to the national call for sustainable development, and help achieve the "dual carbon" goal. The certification is based on the concept of the whole product life cycle, combining the production process and product characteristics of multi-couplings, development of product carbon emission calculation methods and low-carbon evaluation index requirements, clear business certification model and on-site verification content. The service will promote enterprises to increase low-carbon technology research and development, build low-carbon production system, enhance product low-carbon attributes, and achieve green low-carbon transformation.

In the future, CQC will continue to bear in mind the essential attribute of quality certification "deliver trust and serve development", expand the scope of low-carbon product certification, improve the quality of certification services, steadily promote low-carbon home appliances to a higher level and higher quality, and write a new chapter of green and low-carbon development in the home appliance industry.
