CQC issued the Compliance Management System Certificate for Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Mengniu Dairy”) on June 5, 2023, indicating that Mengniu Dairy has become the first dairy enterprise in China to pass the international and national standards of ISO 37301:2021 and GB/T 35770-2022 Compliance management Systems - Requirements with Guidance for Use. Liu Gang, a member of the Party Committee and Vice Director of CQC, Zhang Ping, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Guo Lidong, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Mengniu Dairy, and others participated the ceremony and delivered speeches.

Liu Gang summarized the certification audit, planning and implementation of Mengniu Dairy’s compliance management system, and affirmed the extensive and productive work has been done by Mengniu Dairy in compliance management. He expressed that the importance of compliance management has become increasingly prominent and become the critical factor for enterprises to promote the core competitiveness with the intensification of international trade competition and the deepening of developing law-based governance in China; the compliance management of Mengniu Dairy has been up to the standards of international compliance management system, which played the supporting role in energizing all business departments to conduct all business smoothly.

Zhang Ping expressed their gratitude for the long-term and strong support given by CQC to Mengniu Dairy. He said that Mengniu Dairy, the domestic leading and world-class dairy enterprise, has always upheld the core value of “our integrity and honesty supports our continued success”, regarded integrity as the eternal foundation and stuck to the bottom line of compliance. Mengniu Dairy would continue to strengthen the strategic focus, implement every task and help domestic dairy industry to achieve high-quality development in the course of promoting the construction of compliance management system. Guo Lidong spoke highly of the professionalism and dedication of compliance management system certification team of CQC, and reviewed the construction course of compliance management system of Mengniu Dairy briefly.

ISO37301:2021 Compliance Management Systems - Requirements with Guidance for Use was published by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in April 2021. The national standard of GB/T35770-2022 for equivalent conversion was published and implemented in October 2022. The PDCA concept adopted by the Standard covers the whole course of the construction, operation, maintenance and improvement of the compliance management system, and provides an international and standardized management framework for the construction, implementation, maintenance and improvement of enterprises.

CQC, a “national certification body” of quality services, participated in the formulation and promotion of the national standard of GB/T35770-2022, and issued the Compliance Management System Certificates for tens of large-scale and well-known enterprises including China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), China Construction Seventh Engineering Division. Corp. Ltd., Sichuan Development Holding Co., Ltd., China Southern Power Grid Company Limited and Guangdong Provincial Communications Group Co., Ltd. The Certificate Centre will optimize the services to guard the high-quality development of enterprises.
