On May 31st, the opening ceremony of the "2023 Certification Technology Enhancement Week" was held in Nanning. Hosted by CQC, the event is guided by the State Administration for Market Regulation and organized by the CCAA. Huang Guoliang, the Chief Engineer of the State Administration for Market Regulation, delivered a video speech.

The theme of the event is "High-Quality Certification Services for High-Quality Development." It includes activities such as the opening ceremony, the general meeting of the Certification Technology Professional Committee/Certification Accreditation Policy, Regulation, Research, and Consultation Work Committee, the 6th Certification Technology Exchange Seminar, and on-site evaluation and communication of exemplary certification audits. More than 300 people participated in the event. Several departments of CQC participated in relevant meetings and case reviews.

In his speech, Xie Zhaoxu stated that as an internationally recognized quality management tool and trade facilitation tool, quality certification plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the healthy development of the national economy and supporting China's high-quality economic and social development. Currently, China's economy is transitioning from high-speed growth to high-quality development, which is an important period for accelerating the construction of a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development. This also poses higher requirements for quality certification services. He hoped that through this event, comprehensive cooperation and communication with regulatory authorities and industry organizations could be strengthened to explore new trends in certification technology development and contribute to the construction of a quality-strong country and high-quality economic and social development.

Liu Jiang, along with representatives from eight other certification bodies, jointly read the certification industry initiative, issuing a call to industry colleagues to "increase R&D investment, actively promote technological innovation; conduct in-depth market research, increase the supply of high-quality services; promote high-end quality certification, lead new consumer demands; support the green development of industries, and promote harmonious coexistence."

As a "national-level" quality service organization, CQC will continue to play a leading role, always keeping in mind the essential responsibility of quality certification as "delivering trust and serving development." It will uphold the concept of "certification for the people, quality shared by the people," continuously optimize service capabilities, demonstrate the responsibility of a state owned enterprise, and contribute more to the improvement of certification technology and the high-quality development of the economy and society.
