On June 6, 2023, Thomas Quernheim, Vice President of Transportation Services Engineering and Type Certification of TüV Rheinland Group, visited CQC. Xie Zhaoxu, Director of CQC, welcomed the delegation, and Liu Jiang, Deputy Director of CQC, along with relevant department heads, attended the meeting.
Xie Zhaoxu expressed that TüV Rheinland and CQC have a longstanding and fruitful cooperation. He hoped that both parties could engage in close communication, learn from each other, and fully utilize the communication bridge and cooperation platform to promote comprehensive exchanges in certification testing, standards and regulations, international cooperation, and technological research. The goal is to establish a more proactive and regular cooperation mechanism and model.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed their recent collaborations, shared the latest developments in their respective organizations in the transportation, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges regarding potential areas of collaboration and future cooperation models. Additionally, they explored specific areas such as automotive-grade chips, autonomous driving, and vehicle functional safety.
