From May 18th to 20th, 2023, the 20th China Animal Husbandry Expo was held in Chengdu, and the 2nd China Livestock Digitalization Summit was held concurrently as one of the important forums of the Expo. The summit's theme was "Innovation, Integration, Development, and Seizing the Digital High Ground." CQC was invited to attend the event.

During the summit, CQC issued certificates to the enterprises that passed certification for high-quality pork and high-quality eggs based on digital technology. In collaboration with the China Animal Husbandry Association, CQC integrated information resources from the breeding and production processes of the livestock and poultry industry using standardization methods to develop certification for high-quality livestock and poultry products based on digital technology.

The manager from the Certification Department VII of CQC expressed that the certification project for high-quality livestock and poultry products based on digital technology has accumulated resources in quality assessment, breeding and slaughtering techniques, and information technology. It provides an effective pathway for exploring innovative models in digital animal husbandry, promoting the deep integration of information technology and agricultural production, and facilitating the industry's transformation towards informationization.
