From May 10th to 14th, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, State Administration for Market Regulation, National Intellectual Property Administration, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, held the 2023 China Brand Day event in Shanghai. The theme of the event was "Chinese Brands, Shared by the World; New Power of Brands, New Quality of Life." Xu Shaoshan, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of CQC, was invited to participate in the 2023 China Service Brand Forum and delivered a speech on the theme of "Enhancing Service to Enhance Industrial Value."
In his speech, Xu Shaoshan stated that brands are important symbols of high-quality development. Quality certification services, as an important part of strengthening service brand construction, are closely related to all aspects of the national economy and social development. With the proposal of the strategy to build a manufacturing and quality powerhouse in China, the important role of quality certification is increasingly prominent, and building a robust quality certification service brand is also an important means to promote industry optimization, upgrading, and high-quality development. In recent years, CQC has vigorously strengthened the construction of the quality certification service resource network, continuously expanded the scope of quality certification services, deepened the strength of quality certification services, actively promoted trade facilitation, and effectively enhanced the credibility of quality certification results, providing strong support for high-quality development of industries.
