To whom it may concern,
Recently, Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) issued a notice requiring importers to fill out product declaration documents in accordance with the template specified by the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources when submitting Shipment CoC request for certain consignments starting from May 10, 2023. Otherwise, the certificate will not be issued.
Therefore, from now on, when CQC reviews the Shipment CoC of the following products through the SABER platform, it will require the applicant (importer) to provide a declaration document that meets the requirements (see the template in the attachment).
