On April 28, 2023, under the guidance and support of China Satellite Navigation Office, Science and Technology Bureau of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Integration Bureau of Cyberspace Administration of China and Emergency Communication Support Center of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Collaborative Development Platform of the Beidou Industry organized a forum in Beijing. Themed "Integration, Innovation, Openness, and Win-Win," the forum sought to further deepen the wide application of Beidou in various fields of national economic and social development.

Yang Changfeng, chief designer of the Beidou Satellite Navigation System Engineering and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with representatives from relevant departments, attended the forum. Xie Zhaoxu, Party Secretary and Director of CQC, was invited to participate in the event.

The event aimed to showcase the significant achievements of Beidou development among key state-owned enterprises, promote the marketization, industrialization, and internationalization of Beidou, and boost collaborative innovation and development. Sixteen prominent achievements, selected through public voting and industry expert review, were officially released.

CQC's project, "Beidou High-precision Vehicle Application Public Testing and Certification Platform," received the Infrastructure Achievement Award. A signing ceremony for the establishment of the Beidou Application Joint Engineering Research Center also took place, with Xie Zhaoxu attending and signing the contract as a sponsor representative.  

The Beidou Application Joint Engineering Research Center is co-established by eight units, including CQC. Adhering to the concept of "co-construction, sharing, and integration," and targeting breakthroughs in Beidou's key core technologies, the center aims to accelerate marketization, industrialization, and international development of Beidou applications. It will consolidate advantages and innovative forces from various cooperating organizations, innovate the deep integration mechanism of "production, education and research" for comprehensive three-dimensional transportation and other industries, and coordinate efforts in project planning and design, scientific research and development, standard-setting, testing, and certification.
