The performance certification rules of Table Lamps for Paper Task has been issued on December 30, 2022 according to the standard GB/T 9473-2022 ("new standard") and implemented on January 1, 2024. Therefore, CQC revised CQC16-465316-2018 "Performance Certification Rules of Table Lamps for Paper Task", No. CQC16-465316-2023, covering product certification category: 010028. The requirements for implementing the new standards and rules are hereby notified as follows:

I.the main revision

1. The scope of application of the rules shall be adjusted with reference to GB/T 9473-2022;

2. Revise 5.2, replace GB/T 9473-2017 with the standard GB/T 9473-2022, and adjust the inspection items and methods accordingly;

3. Modify the test items of 5.2 for adjustable light and/or adjustable color products;

4. Increase the relevant contents of review;

5. The validity period of the certificate is changed from "long-term validity" to 5 years;

6. The certification mark is revised to "CQC Basic Certification Mark".

II. The requirements for implementing the new standards and rules

1. From May 1, 2023, enterprises can voluntarily choose to implement certification according to the new or old standards. From January 1, 2024, CQC will adopt the new standard to implement certification and issue the certificate based on the new standard.

2. For products that have been certified according to the old standard, the holder of the certificate shall submit an application for certificate conversion based on the new standard to CQC after the implementation date of the new standard and before the end of the first follow-up inspection, and ensure that the difference test between the new and old standards is supplemented within one year, and complete the product confirmation and certificate renewal according to the new standard. The conversion of all old certificates shall be completed before December 31, 2024 at the latest. If the conversion is not completed within the time limit, CQC will suspend it; CQC will revoke the certificate that has not been converted on March 31, 2025.

3. For certified products that have been delivered and put on the market before January 1, 2024 and are no longer produced, there is no need for certificate conversion.

4. The requirements of the new standard in this announcement do not exempt related products from the liability of complying with the relevant provisions of the Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China.

5. All relevant laboratories can report to CQC the testing capability of the new standard, and shall record the qualification and accreditation of the new standard in time.
