On April 18th, CQC organized a technical seminar for electronic product testing institutions in Chengdu in 2023. Liu Jiang, Party Committee Member and Deputy Director of CQC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. A total of 150 people attended the meeting, including the representatives from Consumer Goods Certification Department and Certification Supervision Division of the Certification Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Certification, Accreditation, Inspection and Testing Supervision and Administration Department of the Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Administration, and the heads and representatives of various testing institutions.

Liu Jiang expressed his gratitude to the testing institutions for their long-term support to the work of CQC, and profoundly explained the meanings of "trust" and "quality" and the social responsibility of TIC industry in combination with the theme of the conference, "Spreading the trust to the world and keeping the quality in the heart". He emphasized that facing the new landscape, it’s very important for CQC and testing institutions to strengthen cooperation, seize the opportunity of digitalization and intelligence of electronic industry, promote technological and business innovation, and provide better services for the market.

The responsible persons of the Certification Supervision and Administration Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation respectively interpreted the compulsory product certification policy and the requirements of supervision and inspection, and stated that testing institutions should improve their work methodology, technical ability and testing quality. The leaders of Certification, Accreditation, Inspection and Testing Supervision and Management Office of Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Administration introduced the development of testing and certification industry in Sichuan Province.  

In the future, CQC will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with testing institutions, strictly abide by the bottom line of quality, and work together to serve the high-quality development of the electronic industry.
