On April 8th, 2023 China SME Development Conference and the 16th China SME Festival was launched in Shenyang. Qi Xuchun, vice chairman of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Hao Peng, secretary of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Li Lecheng, deputy secretary of the provincial party Committee and governor, Li Zibin, president of China Small and Medium Enterprises Association, Ning Ji Zhe, member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the Economic Committee and vice chairman of China International Economic Exchange Center attended the meeting. Xie Zhaoxu, party secretary and director of CQC, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech on "Green and Low Carbon Certification Contributes to High Quality Development of SMEs" at the theme forum of "Financial Empowerment, Green and Low Carbon".

Xie Zhaoxu stated in his speech that at present, the green and low-carbon trends have become the mainstream, and enterprises should establish an all-round green and low-carbon system from the dimensions of products, operations and industrial chains. For small and medium-sized enterprises, green and low-carbon development is not only a matter of social responsibility, but also a matter of development direction, business strategy and market space. In the future, small and medium-sized enterprises should seize the opportunity of green and low-carbon transformation and give full play to the advantages of "specialization and innovation", so as to meet the challenges and grow up or even become the industry giants. CQC has been playing an important role in the establishment of national green and low-carbon development mechanisms such as national carbon market, voluntary carbon emission reduction trading and government procurement of energy-saving products, which has been highly recognized by governments at all levels and all social parties. To better response to global climate change and national "carbon peaking and neutrality" strategy, CQC, as the "national team" of "carbon peaking and neutrality" will continue to cultivate in the field by means of standards, tesing and certification, and make great effort to contribute to the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises through a green and low-carbon path.
