From March 14th to 20th, at the invitation of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, the Modern Service Evaluation Center of CQC carried out the evaluation of the demonstration program for fire safety standardization management of elderly care institutions in Shanghai in 2023.

According to the "Detailed Rules for Scoring Fire Safety Standardization Management of Elderly Care Institutions in Shanghai" formulated by CQC, 40 elderly care institutions in the city are comprehensively scored for fire safety standardization management, and those with excellent scores will be awarded the title of "Fire Safety Standardization Demonstrator of Shanghai Elderly Care Institutions". During the evaluation process, opinions and suggestions were also collected for the revision of the new standard in 2023.

In the future, CQC will give full play to its advantages in fire safety and all-round quality evaluation of health care service system, continue to actively cooperate with regulatory authorities, industry associations and social units, and improve the fire safety management level of elderly care institutions, so as to further promote the construction of fire safety standardization system in Shanghai. In the meanwhile, by leveraging tools of information, digitalization and intelligence, CQC will popularize the pilot innovation project of "smart fire protection" and boost the sound development of fire safety management of elderly care industry.
