Recently, organized by the Certification Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation(SAMR), China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment(CNAS) and undertaken by CQC, the supervision and inspection notification and training meeting of CCC designated laboratories for household gas appliances was held online and offline. Officers from the Certification Department of the SAMR, CNAS, managers of CQC, and more than 70 representatives from CCC designated certification bodies and laboratories attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the speakers from Certification Department of the SAMR and CNAS respectively introduced the general requirements and work priorities of certification, accreditation, inspection and testing, giving much credit to the implementation and output of the special supervision and inspection work of CCC designated laboratory for household gas appliances, and reported the overall work of supervision and inspection. According to the inspection findings, the experts of the inspection team introduced the traceability requirements of domestic gas appliance product reports and original records, the requirements of testing standards and CCC certification requirements.

The meeting also summarized the inspection findings of the special supervision of CCC designated laboratories for household gas appliances in 2022, analyzed the existing problems and puts forward the correction requirements, which is of great significance to promote the management and technical level of CCC designated laboratories for domestic gas appliances, and also lays a good foundation for continuously improving the quality of product certification.
