State Administration for Market Regulation Announcement of No Longer Implementation of China Compulsory Certification Management of Certain Electrical Products
In order to implement the "Opinions of the State Council General Office on Deepening the Reform of the Electronic and Electrical Industry Management System" (State Council [2022] No. 31), the State Administration for Market Regulation has adjusted the catalogue of China Compulsory Certification (hereinafter referred to as CCC certification) following the necessary minimum principle. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows: 1. The CCC certification management is no longer implemented for 9 electronic and electrical products with low safety risk and mature technology (see annex). 2. Certain products are removed from the applied scope of the “China Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules on Audio and Video Devices” (CNCA-C08-01:2014) and the “China Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules on Telecommunications Terminal Equipment” (CNCA-C16-01:2014); the “China Compulsory Certification Implementation Rules on Security Alarm Products” (CNCA-C19-01:2014) is repealed. 3. Designated certification bodies and laboratories shall cancel the designated scope of relevant products. 4. Designated certification bodies and laboratories shall cease CCC certification and corresponding testing activities of relevant products, and cancel the CCC certificates issued as required.
