CQC recently revised CQC-C2201-2020 "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification: Baby Carriage Products" and CQC-C2202-2020 "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification: Toys". The main amendments are as follows:
1. Toys
--Delete the original 1 terms and definitions and change them to 1 scope;
--Change the original 2 classification management requirements of production enterprises to Annex 1;
--4.1. 4 Revise the unite classification principle of toy for riding vehicles;
--Delete the original 4.2 selection of the certification mode;
--Delete the original 5.4 principle of classifying certification units of different certification clients/manufacturers/factories;
--5.2 Modify the information required for certification application;
--Delete the original 7.1. 5 sampling requirements for a small number of single batches of products;
--9.1 Revise the frequency and method of surveillance after obtaining the certificate;
--9.2 Revise the requirements for surveillance and sampling testing;
--10.1 Increase the requirements for factory relocation;
--Change the original 12 control of key raw materials after obtaining the certificate to Annex 5;
--Delete the original Annex 4, the requirements for using the resources of production enterprises to implement testing and the utilization of other certification results;
--Annex 4 Revise the inspection and control requirements for key raw/auxiliary materials and key parts to be confirmed regularly;
--Editorial changes.
2. Baby carriage products
--Delete the original 1 terms and definitions and change them to scope;
--Change the original 2 classification management requirements of production enterprises to Annex 1;
--Delete the original 4.2 selection of the certification mode;
--4.1 Revise the classification principle of baby walker units;
--5.2 Modify the information required for certification application;
--Delete the original 5.4 principle of classifying certification units of different certification clients/manufacturers/factories;
--Delete the original 7.1. 5 sampling requirements for a small number of single batches of products;
--9.2 Revise the requirements for surveillance and sampling testing;
--10 Revise the surveillance content after obtaining the certificate;
--11.1 Add the requirements for factory relocation;
--Change the original 12 control of key raw materials after obtaining the certificate to Annex 5;;
--Delete the original 14 utilization of testing resources of production enterprises;
--Annex 4 Revise the inspection and control requirements for key raw/auxiliary materials and key parts to be confirmed regularly;
--Editorial changes.
III. Implementation requirements
The revision of this detailed rule does not involve the conversion of certificate. From January 16, 2023, applicants must apply for certification according to the revised implementation rules.
