Recently, China Quality Certification Centre(CQC) successfully passed the first assessment of the IEC Scheme for Certification to Standards for Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres (IECEx). Liu Jiang, deputy director of CQC, attended the meeting, with more than 40 personnel from relevant departments and branches.
The assessment was conducted remotely. Experts carried out in-depth and meticulous reviews on the quality management system, certification process, working procedures, certification files, comprehensive ability of personnel and explosion-proof technical capability of CQC, and spoke highly of the overall strength, explosion-proof service ability and professionalism of employees of CQC.
After obtaining the qualification as IECEx Certification Body (ExCB), CQC will be able to provide clients with more comprehensive explosion-proof technical services and a package of certification services, and inject new energy into Chinese enterprises to expand the international market. At the same time, joining IECEx system is a milestone for the international development of CQC in explosion-proof field, which will enable CQC to gain more momentum in prompting international development.
