To whom it may concern,

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (hereinafter referred to as “SASO”) has recently issued a notice that for non-regulated products, the mandatory implementation date for uploading product images has been postponed from July 21, 2022 to October 5, 2022. When a local importer in Saudi Arabia applies for a Supplier Declaration of Conformity through the SABER platform, the system will force the upload of the necessary product pictures, hope the majority of relevant enterprises know and strictly abide by it.

IMPORTANT:

1.     It can be judged that the product is a regulated/non-regulated product by searching the HS code corresponding to the product through the SABER platform.

2.     Please make sure that the products are properly prepared before issuing the Shipment CoC to avoid the expiry of the Shipment CoC.

3.     The Shipment CoC is valid for 60 days after issuance.
