China Quality Certification Centre (hereinafter referred to as "CQC") has recently received the latest announcement from the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (hereinafter referred to as “SASO”), making new mandatory requirements for the technical documents required for the SABER platform to apply for the Product CoC. According to the content of the announcement, CQC made the following adjustments when approving the Product CoC through the SABER platform:

From June 23, 2022, when CQC approves the Product CoC on the SABER platform, for products applicable to different conformity assessment modes, the following technical documents will be uploaded in accordance with SASO requirements:

1. Type 1a:

？ Test report

？ Risk assessment

2. Type 3:

？ Test report

？ Risk assessment

？ Factory inspection report

It is hoped that the majority of enterprises will know and strictly abide by it, so as to avoid the failure to obtain the Product CoC in time due to incomplete information.
