In the early stage of the COVID-19 Epidemic, China Quality Certification Center issued the "CQC Notice on Related Business Work During the Prevention and Control Period of the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak"(Notice), which made arrangements for the implementation of certification and adopted the service suspension measures such as certificate processing, with practical actions to support the production and operation of enterprises during the epidemic.

With the gradual relief of the epidemic and the full resumption of production and work of enterprises, to ensure the compliance and effectiveness of certification work, CQC makes the following arrangements for subsequent certificate processing based on the relevant practice:

CQC will formally stop the implementation of "suspending certificate processing" in the "Notice" from January 31, 2021. If the certificate is currently in "valid" status, relevant companies should pay attention to the validity period of the certificate (referring to the extension of the validity period of the certificate in accordance with the implementation of "suspending certificate processing" ) according to the relevant certification requirements, applying for certificate renewal/review in time. CQC will response accordingly in accordance with relevant certification requirements.

If there are some exception (such as unable to take factory inspection due to the epidemic), enterprises can submit a written statement to CQC, and CQC will take relevant measures at its discretion.
