On December 16, 2020, the Yangtze River Delta "Belt and Road Initiative"(BRI) International Certification Network together with the "BRI" Certification Information Service Platform was launched in Shanghai. The event was hosted by Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and organized by CQC. Bo Yumin, deputy director of the Certification Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Tao Yonghua, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal AMR, attended the event and delivered speeches. Representatives from the initiators of the “BRI” International Certification Network in the Yangtze River Delta participated in the event.

At the event site, Bo Yumin and Tao Yonghua unveiled the "BRI" International Certification Network in the Yangtze River Delta. The network is a cooperative organization jointly initiated by 24 international and domestic authoritative testing and certification bodies in the Yangtze River Delta region. It upholds the “BRI” spirit of cooperation, openness and accommodation, mutual learning and mutual benefit, and is targeted on supporting foreign trade and serving the Real economy. CQC Shanghai serves as the secretariat of the network.

In addition, the "BRI" certification information service platform was also launched on site. The platform is an innovative public service platform led by CQC Shanghai and jointly established by many testing and certification bodies in the Yangtze River Delta. Relying on the advantages of the inspection, testing and certification industry in the Yangtze River Delta, the platform adheres to the principle of consultation, joint construction and shared benefits, and provides convenient services such as consultation, inquiry and "one-stop" docking for trade companies, especially export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises.

In the future, CQC will continue to actively undertake the upcoming tasks entrusted by the network, and better serve "Yangtze River Delta Integration" development and the "BRI" for the integration and internationalization of the certification industry, contributing to the high-quality development of the national economy.
