On December 10, 2020, a delegation led by Deputy Director of CQC Song Xiangdong visited China Southern Power Grid Research Institute Co., Ltd. and met Li Xiaolin, deputy dean of Southern Power Grid Research Institute.

Li Xiaolin extended his welcome to Song Xiangdong and CQC delegation, and introduced the basic situation and scientific research development of China Southern Power Research Institute. Song Xiangdong introduced CQC’s development, organizational structure, business areas, and the SASAC's latest positioning requirements for CCIC, hoping that both parties can complement each other's advantages and deepen the cooperation. The two parties also conducted full exchanges on topics such as standards and conformity assessment, offshore wind power, new energy charging infrastructure, and laboratory collaboration, and agreed to strengthen communication, carry out interaction and discussion in more fields to achieve mutual development.

In the meanwhile, CQC also went to Shanghai Electric Guangdong Offshore Wind Power Intelligent Manufacturing Project for exchanges. Representatives from New Energy Department of CQC and CQC Guangzhou accompanied in the visit.
