On December 1, 2020, a delegation led by Cao Lili, director of the Standardization Research Service Institute of China National Institute of Standardization visited CQC. Vice president of CCIC, Managing Director of CQC Mdm. Lu Mei welcomed their visit and had a meeting with the delegation. Managers from the International Cooperation Department and the Modern Service Industry Evaluation Center attended the meeting.

Mdm. Lu mei introduced CQC’s development , institutional reforms and various services in the field of standardization. She expressed the willingness to uphold the win-win cooperation model, and hope to carry out comprehensive collaborations domestically and internationally with CNIS.

CNIS introduced the basic positioning and functional scope of the National Service Standardization Technical Committee (TC264), as well as the recent development in international service standards. The two parties communicated and exchanged on the standardization and conformity assessment work that CQC has currently carried out, and discussed the potential cooperation direction.

In the future, CQC will maintain closer communication with the CNIS, following up the progress of relevant standards in a timely manner, and lay the foundation for subsequent conformity assessment.
